The process begins with a CCTV inspection of your drain.

Our experienced technicians will CCTV inspect your drains (with you present), to determine the condition of the drain and identify any cracked, broken or tree root infested areas within the drainage system, that has the potential to cause blockages.

Once the main drain has been entirely inspected, we will discuss the best method of drain repair/rehabilitation with you.

This may involve drain relining, excavate and replace or sometimes a combination of both, depending on the location and severity of the problem.

DRAIN RELINING

Drain relining is a cost effective, non-intrusive guaranteed repair that seals over breaks, cracks, missing sections and tree root infested joints. Its non-intrusive application means there is no need to excavate up paths, driveways or landscaped areas to fix drain problems.

As every drain problem is unique, so are our liners. Every liner is custom made to suit each individual application. Liners are made from fabric that are impregnated with specific environmentally friendly two-part epoxy resins and a pre-inserted bladder spanning the length of the liner. Liners are inserted into the drain via inspection openings or access points and are positioned in the desired location. The bladder is then inflated using compressed air, causing the liner to expand and mould to the host pipe, filling cracks, holes, spanning over any voids and sealing tree root infested joints in the drain. Liners start at 1m long upwards, allowing for small patch repairs to entire main drains to be relined.

Liners can be installed around multiple angle bends, junctions and changes in pipe size with the option of only lining the area in need of repair. Drain relining is a permanent, cost effective solution and carries a 50-year guarantee.

EXCAVATE & REPLACE

At times, given the location and severity of the problem in the drain, the best method of repair is to excavate and replace.

Drain replacement consists of cutting out and removing the defective sections of drain and replacing with new PVC pipe. Excavating and replacing can also involve processes such as cutting out sections of concrete, raising pavers, and excavating around garden beds, all of which is replaced and made good at the end of the job accordingly.
